‘Tanner goes for it’ NC finishes off semi-po 3rd game

NC Dinos’ foreign pitcher Tanner Tully pitches to close out the semifinals.

NC won the second game of the 2023 KBO Semi-Finals (best-of-five) against SSG 7-3 on April 23 at SSG Landers Field in Incheon.

With wins in Game 1 and Game 2 in enemy territory, NC is now within striking distance of a playoff berth awaiting the regular season runner-up KT Wiz.

NC will host SSG in the third game of the semifinals at 6:30 p.m. on May 25 at NC Park in Changwon.

Initially, NC head coach Kang Myung-ho planned to send out Triple Crown pitcher Eric Peddy to start the game.

However, Pedi complained of pain in his right forearm, 바카라사이트 making it difficult for him to start Game 3. Peddy hasn’t pitched a game in the postseason.

Kang switched to Tanner for Game 3.

Tanner made his KBO debut as a substitute foreign pitcher and went 5-2 with a 2.92 ERA in 11 games. He pitched one game against SSG, going 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA.
