Park Sung-hyun will shake off her wrist injury and make her comeback in the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour.
Sema Sports Marketing, Park’s management, said on the 23rd that Park will participate in the Jeju Samdasoo Masters (total prize money of 1 billion won) on the KLPGA Tour, which will open on the 1st of next month.
Park Sung-hyun said through Sema Sports Marketing, “I received treatment for a ligament injury in my wrist and completed my rehabilitation process,” adding, “I am currently making efforts to boost my physical exercise and performance. As I have time to reorganize my body and mind, I will do my best to meet my expectations at the Jeju Samdasoo Masters, which will be participating for the first time this year.”
After winning 10 KLPGA Tour titles, Park went on to participate in the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and secured seven wins including the U.S. Women’s Open to rank No. 1 in the world in women’s golf. However, her performance has declined due to wrist ligament injury. The KLPGA Tour SK Shields SK Telecom Championship in November last year is the latest record to participate in the championship.
“I was able to overcome difficult times because I have fans who are always supporting me,” Park said. “I will do my best at a competition with good memories. I will do my best to show good performance in every competition going forward.” Park won the KLPGA Tour’s Most Winning Award and the lowest at-bats award by winning the 2016 championship. 메이저놀이터
