K League 1 Gangwon draws with Gwangju…Hankook Young Theater equalizer
Professional soccer K League 1 side Gangwon earned a draw against Gwangju thanks to a dramatic equalizer at the Hankook Young Theater.
Gangwon drew 1-1 at home against Gwangju in the 21st round of the league at the Gangneung Sports Complex.
After conceding a goal to Gwangju’s Timo in the 46th minute of the second half with the score tied at 0-0, Gangwon was awarded a corner kick with seven minutes of second-half stoppage time remaining, and in the midst of a scramble, Hankyoung scored to level the game.
Daegu also came from behind in the 44th minute to defeat Jeju 2-1.
Daegu jumped to fourth place.
