‘Klinsmann’s Lake’ North and Central America World Cup 1st leg against Singapore to be held in Seoul on November 16th

The ‘Klinsmann’ will set sail for the 2026 Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup North America.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced on Oct. 20 that the first match of Group C of the second Asian qualifying round for the 2026 FIFA World Cup North America against Singapore will be held at 8 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Singapore defeated Guam in the first round to qualify for the second round. South Korea will compete against China, 카지노사이트랭크 Thailand and Singapore in Group C.

The team must finish in the top two in the second round to advance to the third round. Also at stake is a spot at the 2027 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia.

Jürgen Klinsmann’s men will play their first match at home against Singapore on Nov. 16 before traveling to China for the second leg on Nov. 21.

They will then face Thailand at home on March 21 next year before traveling to Thailand on March 26. Finally, they will play Singapore on June 6 and China on June 11 for the final match at Anbang.

The third round of qualifiers, with a total of 18 countries in three groups of six, will take place starting next September.

The process will still be easier than in the past, as the number of participating nations will increase from 32 to 48 starting with the 2026 World Cup in North and Central America.

Of the 48 spots, 8.5 are reserved for the AFC. Six teams will qualify through the third round of qualifying, and the remaining 2.5 spots will be determined through the fourth and fifth rounds of qualifying and continental playoffs.

South Korea has qualified for 10 consecutive tournaments from the 1986 World Cup in Mexico to the 2022 tournament in Qatar. The Taegeuk Warriors, led by Klinsmann, will be looking to qualify for their 11th consecutive tournament.

South Korea got off to a strong start in October with back-to-back 4-0 wins over Tunisia and 6-0 victories over Vietnam in domestic A matches. 고스톱
