This unambiguously awesome idea has not been without its trials over its short lifetime (or… undeadtime? Undeathtime?). Past Christmases have seen the zombie baby Jesus stolen, the zombie Virgin Mary beheaded, and several lawsuits between the property owner and the town.
The current proprietor says he plans to put the Nativity in storage and sell it off, so if you’re on the lookout for some Christmassy zombies, you may be in luck.
