Dragusin to become Tottenham’s ‘God of defensePlaying with Son Heung-min

Radu Dragusin (22, Genoa)’s choice was Tottenham Hotspur. As Dragusin, who was considered a big player in this winter transfer market

wore Tottenham’s uniform, the fierce competition to recruit Dragusin ended with Tottenham’s victory.

European soccer transfer market expert Fabricio Romano said on social media on the 10th (Korean time), “Dragusin is going to Tottenham.

Tottenham and Genoa have completed the documentation for Dragusin’s transfer,” he said.

The terms of the contract are a basic transfer fee of 25 million euros (approximately 36.1 billion won) with an option of 5 million euros (approximately 7.2 billion won).

It is reported that the total is 30 million euros. Initially, Tottenham offered 25 million euros.

However, as Bayern Munich recently entered the recruitment competition, it appears that they have accepted additional spending. As a result, Dragusin 바카라사이트닷컴

who was receiving 930,000 euros (approximately 1.3 billion won) from Genoa, transferred to Tottenham and received an increase in his annual salary by more than three times.

The reason Tottenham actively sought to recruit Dragusin was because their biggest concern this season was defensive resources.

This is because the center back combination of Christian Romero and Mickey van der Pen collapsed due to injury.

Van der Pen collapsed with a hamstring injury in the match against Chelsea in the 11th round of the Premier League

(PL) on the 7th of last month. Van der Pen has returned to the training ground since December of last year, but it is still too early to return. Romero has also recently been unable to play due to a hamstring injury.

Tottenham needed immediate reinforcements. Director Postekoglou said last month, “I wrote a letter to Santa Claus.

I will be able to determine whether I have done something good or bad depending on the gift I receive,”

he said, expressing the difficulties of reinforcing power and recruiting players in the winter transfer market.

Negotiations between Tottenham and the players who were originally on the list did not progress. As a result, Tottenham quickly turned to Dragusin.

Dragusin, a Romanian defender born in 2002, boasts overwhelming air power and physical strength with his tall height of 191 cm.

After coming through the youth ranks at Italy’s prestigious Juventus and making his professional debut, he spent his career on loan at Sampdoria and Salertina.

He played well at Genoa in Serie B (2nd Division), where he went on loan last season, and helped the team achieve promotion.

Genoa activated the complete transfer option and succeeded in recruiting Dragusin. Dragusin has appeared in 19 games for Genoa this season.

According to soccer statistics media ‘Squawka’, Dragusin recorded the most aerial duels wins (53) as of the 17th round of Serie A.

He is also excellent at defense. Only one dribble breakthrough is allowed. This season he has the second most clearances (87) in Italian Serie A.

In addition to his physicality, Dragusin also has build-up ability. According to soccer statistics media ‘Opta’, Dragusin completed the most passes in Genoa this season.

The media explained, “This means that Genoa actively utilizes Dragusin when attacking.”

He also plays for the Romanian national team. Even though he is only 21 years young, he has played 13 games for the national team. He is also likely to participate in the UEFA Euro 2024 to be held in Germany in June.

The process of recruiting Dragusin for Tottenham was not easy. This is because Munich intervened in the recruitment process and attempted to hijack him.

On the 9th, Italy’s Gazzetta dello Sport said, “Bayern Munich has completed transfer fee negotiations with Genoa,” and “has overtaken Tottenham in the race to sign Dragusin. However, negotiations are still in progress.”

Sky Sports Germany also explained, “Bayern Munich has put Dragusin on the list of candidates to recruit.”

Reporter Florian Plettenberg of the media also added on social media, “Bayern Munich is trying to hijack Dragusin,” and “general manager Christoph Freund is very impressed with his abilities.”

But in the end, it was Tottenham who laughed. The Athletic and Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio reported on the 10th that Dragusin rejected Munich and decided to join Tottenham.

Romano said: “Dragusin will fly to London later today to undergo medical tests. “Bayern Munich’s crazy saga is over,” he explained.

Dragusin is likely to become Tottenham’s second target in the winter transfer market. Number 1 is striker Timo Werner, brought in on a short-term loan from RB Leipzig.

His contract runs until the end of this season. It is reported that a complete transfer option is also included.

“I can’t believe we turned down Bayern Munich,” said Dragusin’s agent, Florin Manea. “Dragusin made a promise to Tottenham and we decided to honor it.

We are a little shocked,” he said.

“The decision was made at 8 a.m. Munich is one of the biggest clubs in the world. “That’s why I still can’t believe I turned down Munich,” he said.

This was Dragusin and his family’s decision. “Dragusin will happily go to Tottenham,” he added.

In this way, Tottenham solved both attack and defense problems one by one. However, the task of strengthening the central midfielder still remains.

This is because James Madison is unable to play due to injury. In addition, Yves Bissouma and Fape Sar will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations in January and February.

Arthur Permiren, who currently plays for Royal Antwerp in the Belgian league, has been linked with Tottenham.

The British media presented Tottenham’s new best 11, with Werner and Dragusin joining.

The Sun reported on the 7th, “The appearance of the Tottenham team may change after the January transfer window.

This is a way for Tottenham to place Timo Werner in the offensive line and new center backs in the defensive line,” he said, revealing the three best 11 expected lineups.

The first expected lineup is a 4-3-3 formation with Werner and Son Heung-min on both sides.

Brazilian striker Richarlison stands at the front, Werner on the left, and Son Heung-min on the right.

The midfield consists of Oliver Skipp, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Giovanni Lo Celso. In the defense, Destiny Udogi, Itakura, Dragusin, and Pedro Foro were deployed. The goalkeeper is Guglielmo Vicario.

The second expected line is Son Heung-min on the top, Werner on the left, and Brennan Johnson on the right.

In the midfield, Yves Bissouma replaces Lo Celso and skips, working with Bentancur. Vicario’s goalkeeper and four defensive positions remain unchanged.

The third expected lineup consists of a 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation. Son Heung-min and Werner were the top two here, with Lo Celso positioned as the attacking midfielder.

Skip, Bissouma, and Bentancur will participate in the third line. Christian Romero plays with Dragusin in defense.

The left and right wing defenders and goalkeepers were consistently named Udogi, Foro, and Vicario.

The Sun said, “Werner will be given an opportunity to play immediately under Coach Postekoglou,” and added

Captain Son Heung-min will be absent for several weeks due to participating in the Asian Cup.

Werner can go to the wing and Richarlison can stand up front,” he explained.

Regarding Dragusin, he introduced, “He will be a great help to Tottenham

which relies on fullbacks such as Mickey van der Pen, who has just returned from injury, and Ben Davis and Emerson Royale in place of the injured Romero.”
