Lee Young-ho, the younger brother of Go emperor Lee Chang-ho, who served as his “China manager,” passed away on Monday at the age of 48. Mr. Lee, who was living in Beijing, China, passed away suddenly due to a heart attack, according to the Korean Kiwon .The deceased, who until recently ran the ‘Lee Sedol Go Academy’ in China, maintained a wide range of relationships with Chinese go figures and played a major role in Korea-China go exchanges.
He also served as an assistant to Lee Chang-ho, Lee Sedol 9th dan, as well as other Korean professional players when they competed in China. In 2005, he published a book entitled “My Elder Brother, Lee Chang-ho,” which tells the story behind the competition. He is survived by his wife, Liu Zhenchang (刘千畅), and two sons. The wake will be held on the first floor of Dongfang Tianyu DVC, No. 1 Laiwangang West Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China .The inauguration is on 슬롯게이밍 February 1.
