“Being the youngest, I will help my older brothers more”
Korea University defeated Hanyang University 81-51 in the opening game of the 2024 KUSF University Basketball U-League at Hwajung Gymnasium on Nov. 19.

“Before the game, Coach told me to do what I’ve been doing, which is to make a lot of confident fast break plays and a lot of aggressive plays, and I just did a good job of that. I think it was a lot of faith from my brothers, my coaches, and my manager, but also my own confidence,” he said.
“In high school, I was criticized for my poor shooting percentage. Since I came to university and practiced a lot, I now have a good feel and balance. I think I’ve been able to maintain that.”
“I’m not arrogant because I did a little better today, but I’m going to work harder in the future. Being the youngest, I will help my older brothers more. I want to lead the game, and I want to reduce my misses and be a contributing player to the team.”
