Kane wants to join Bayern Munich, PSG also in the hunt with 140 billion won bid

Interest in Son Heung-min’s (31) teammate, England national soccer team captain Harry Kane (30-plus Tottenham), is heating up. While German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich is the favorite to sign Kane, local reports suggest that French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has also joined the race.

The situation is interesting because all three clubs, including PSG with Lee Kang-in and Bayern Munich with Kim Min-jae, have Korean players.

“Kane’s preferred destination is reportedly Bayern Munich, but PSG will also offer Tottenham more money if a deal falls through,” ESPN reported on Aug. 18, citing sources.

Kane, who is contracted to Tottenham until the summer of 2024, has recently been linked with a move to Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have already made two bids for the player, which were rejected by Tottenham, and the club is preparing to make another attempt.

“PSG is ready to spend €100 million ($141.9 million) on Kane,” ESPN reported, “and that figure could rise if Kylian Mbappe joins Real Madrid (Spain) for a bigger fee.”

PSG have added the likes of Lee Kang-In, Marco Asensio and Manuel Ugarte this summer, but they lack a target man to lead the attack up front. Aside from Kane, they have also been linked with Victor Osimhen (Napoli) and Randal Kolo Moani (Frankfurt).

Add to that the uncertainty of Mbappe’s future, whose contract runs through next summer.

“Bayern have made two bids for Kane that have been rejected,” ESPN reports, “but they will make another offer of €90 million ($127.8 million). Still, it’s an amount that falls short of Tottenham’s expectations.”

PSG are keeping a close eye on Kane’s availability in case Mbappe leaves, and if a deal with Bayern Munich falls through, they plan to “hijack” him.

Meanwhile, Kane, who has been heavily linked with a move away, has been accompanying Tottenham on their ‘Asia Tour’. 토토사이트 The England international has been reunited with Son Heung-min in Australia and will face West Ham United in a friendly in Perth on Sunday.
