Despite the spotlight being on him, Lee Kang-in (Paris Saint-Germain) emphasized the importance of team and teammates.
Hwang Sun-hong’s South Korea Under-24 football team won their final Group E match of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games 3-0 on Thursday at the Jinhua Sports Center Stadium in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province, China.
Lee Kang-in, who arrived in Hangzhou on Nov. 21 to join Hwang Sun-hong in the team’s schedule, made his first appearance on the field.
He started up front and was on the field until the 36th minute.
He ran around several opponents to create space for his teammates and made several sharp passes.

He was not satisfied with his performance on the day.
“I played with the players for the first time (in practice), but I think there are a lot of things I need to improve,” Lee said, adding, “I will definitely try to win the next match.”
