Hyundai E&C, the ‘prolific scorer’ or Heungkuk Life, the ‘new engine’?

Hyundai E&C, the ‘leader’ in the women’s professional volleyball league, will face Heungkuk Life, the ‘daughter of legends’ with a new engine. As the season draws to a close, the ‘big match’ between the first and second-place teams is being called a preview of the championship. The key to winning and losing is defense. In terms of blocked shots, Heungkuk Life had 480 and Hyundai E&C had 443. Receiving efficiency was 32.0% for Heungkuk Life and 35.2% for Hyundai E&C. In blocking, Heungkuk Sinsaeng had 2.21 blocks per set compared to 2.37 for Hyundai E&C. The difference in receiving efficiency, blocking, and error management is what separates Hyundai E&C from Heungkuk Sinsaeng.
